Chowder Fest ’26

Sunday October 4, 2026 from 12pm-3pm @ Hesky Park

It’s Back! Chowder Fest 2026 is coming to Meredith Bay! Do you have the best chowder in the Lakes Region? PROVE IT!

We’re looking for the best local restaurants in the Lakes Region to bring their chowder to the table!

• Prize: Winner receives a trophy, public recognition at the event, and post-event promotion (including
  photos and social media), conferring official bragging rights
• The People’s Choice will declare a winner
• Showcase your restaurant to a huge hungry crowd

Foot Traffic Galore! This event also coincides with the Mill Falls Marketplace Craft Fair across the street

Entry Fee: $500 per restaurant and provide 30 gallons of chowder

Your restaurant will benefit from two months of extensive media exposure on: The Northeast Communications Radio Stations: Mix 94.1, WCSY Country 106.9, The Planet 100.1 and Oldies 92.9; Print and digital advertising with The Laconia Daily Sun; GMP Social Media channels, flyers and signage

The GMP will supply a six-foot banquet table and plastic table covering. All vendors are responsible for disposing of any trash.

Set up will begin on Sunday at 9am. Please be finished by 11:30am.
